Love | Art | Play promotes original arts projects with professionals and non-professionals of all disciplines, encouraging them to step out of their safety zones to work on collaborative and original projects.

Love | Art | Play was created by legendary artist, Arlene Begelman, to host collaborative artistic projects and performances. Those who know Arlene as a teacher, director, and choreographer describe her as a true treasure in the New Milford area. Her years of dedication to the performing arts is second to none. Arlene Begelman has directed dozens of plays and musicals as Artistic Director of Actor’s Repertory Theatre of Connecticut and Connecticut Stage, Inc.

Through Love Art Play, Arlene is excited to continue her legacy and contribute to the bustling art scene of New Milford, CT.

Our wish list includes a theater space for artists to gather while working on projects without monetary or time constraints, establishing a youth theater of divergent talent and providing a place for the community to see the artists at work while they are developing and participating in projects.
